Reviews and Ratings
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were immaculately clean and cozy, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and engaging. The hotel offers fantastic amenities, including balconies, a rooftop pool, bar, restaurant, and lounge. However, the design of the rooms, though great, was not as user-friendly as I would have liked.
The hotel had rooms made with really cheap materials and the walls were a bit noisy, leading to interrupted sleep at times, but they were impressively clean, spacious, and serviced brilliantly. The hotel staff were extremely efficient and professional, despite a lack of enthusiasm that I found slightly off-putting. The location was very central and convenient for exploring the city without being overwhelming with tourists. The dining experience was good overall, with a wide variety of options available. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with various services like room service and valet parking available.
My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The location was fantastic, close to everything with access to bars and fantastic attractions, but the room had some issues like being noisy with no peaceful moments and lacking basic amenities like a basin in the toilet and a functioning kettle. The service was helpful and friendly, although not overly enthusiastic. The dining experience offered good food but was a bit too costly. The facilities were acceptable, but there were some areas that needed improvement.
Staying at this hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were a bit challenging, located across from the elevator which could get noisy at times. Unfortunately, my room didn't have a hairdryer or even a sweet treat like chocolate. On the bright side, the hotel is undergoing renovations with the new management, SIR Hotels, which promises an improved experience. The service, however, was a highlight with polite staff offering great recommendations for solo travelers like me. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Barcelona, perfect for exploring and enjoying the city's vibrant atmosphere. The dining options were a bit lacking, with overpriced breakfast and limited choices of pre-packaged products. Despite some drawbacks, the facilities were decent, making it an overall recommended stay.
